About Us

'Footprints Retreats' was set up by Seraphine and Kay - two Pilates instructors who regularly run classes in gyms and studios across Berkshire.

In early 2019 embarked on their first Yoga & Pilates retreat to Turkey. After the successes of this retreat, they now host annual retreats which are designed to be fully inclusive and stress-free - allowing you to rejuvenate and free yourself.

The next retreat is being hosted in a peaceful and calming environment of North Cyprus. Come sink your toes into the warm sand and feel the sun warming your skin as you look out on the sparkling blue Mediterranean sea.

I initially met with Pilates as a student at 2004 when I was training as Holistic therapist. I started practising it every day regularly after my 1st birth and saw a dramatic difference in my body in such a short time. After my 2nd pregnancy I had Diastatic Recti which means muscles of the abdominal wall separate to accommodate the baby.I was referred to a physiotherapist to work on those muscles. However I was already practising Pilates, I had to even work harder, learn more about Pilates which was advised to me by the Physiotherapist. Then I decided to get private tuitions and wanted to learn more about it. After 3 months, my muscles connected back and my tummy was flat again which led me to persuade a career in teaching Pilates, sharing my experience and my knowledge with others who could benefit. I trained in my native language first and gained my Level3 NVQ in the Uk. I was being fortunate to work with Physiotherapists to gain deeper knowledge about pilates. Having anatomy lectures thought by movement therapists has also added to my knowledge of body mechanics.

I believe Pilates is the ultimate form of exercise to help strengthen, lengthen and tone the body and is also invaluable tool to assist during rehabilitation. It has been my medication last 15 years. I have been helping people with conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, MS, stroke survivors and heart problems.

I am also a qualified Reflexologist, Cupping & Sport Massage therapist and Nutritional Advisor.

I also studied a German Method called Dorn Method to correct the misalignments in the spinal column and other joints. As I also have been practising Yoga last 10 years, I added it to my teaching and became a 200-hours Yoga Instructor. My latest training is Stott Pilates Zenga Instructor qualification.

Teaching is my passion. I feel so lucky to have a job that I love. I still inspire and learn from my students.

Kay

Kay Zebzabi, not only a certified yoga and Pilates instructor, but also a personal trainer, has delved in all forms of fitness - believing that you can obtain a good quality of life through the nurturing of the mind and body. With over 17 years of experience, Kay is a woman of the people. Constantly allowing individuals to engage and find their inner peace through fitness and nutrition.

Kay inspires countless of her clients to live a better life through her enthusiasm, dedication and extreme work ethic. Kay gives everyone she meets a new and refreshing introduction to a healthy lifestyle, making sure each client of hers is on the right path to living a better life.

Yoga has become fundamental in Kay’s life, leading to the birth of her yoga retreat named Footprints Retreats with Seraphine. Through this, Kay is determined to continue her life helping other people by organising trips away dedicated to improving one's state of mind as well as one's physical appearance.
